YTD SALES ARE STRONG! - Sales are strong in 2018. California is seeing the best Year-to-Date Sales in the past 12 years! This indicates continued strong buyer demand for residential housing backed by safe loan origination guidelines.

DEMAND IS STRONGEST IN SPRING – Buyer demand for housing is the strongest in the Spring season causing seasonal mid-year price increases. This is partially because many parents want to move before Fall school begins while others want to be settled before the Holidays.

RETURN TO NORMAL - After the ‘Great Recession’ and the consolidation period between 2007 – 2012, the California real estate market is returning to normal annual sales volume and property valuation. Continued price appreciation is forecast based upon strong economic activity, continued housing shortage and a general annual population growth of 300,000 people!
